any recommendations?

some things to accomplish now that the semester is over

  • make all the recipes i haven’t had time to try
  • become a master gluten free bread baker
  • purchase new running sneakers (and maybe vibrams? and turf cleats?)
  • organize my belongings and donate what i don’t need
  • workout with my friend caitlin while we’re home together
  • become a badass weight lifter
  • get out to PA more often to visit my dad
  • get ready for spain (!!) next semester
  • do productive research in the lab
  • soak up the sun and the sand and the ocean

i’m out in pennsylvania for the weekend visiting my dad and stepfam.  it’s like a different world out here in the middle of nowhere.  i’m waking up tomorrow to go riding with my stepmom before i head back to school to finish packing and then home again.
yesterday i went for an easy 8-miler while my dad biked beside me.  it was nice to have some company for a change :)

here’s my to-do list:
  • wake up at my leisure
  • go on a long run (beach or trail? i can’t decide!)
  • go grocery shopping at trader joe’s and a local health food store
  • cook a delicious dinner for my mom and i
  • cuddle with my dog
  • do whatever i want
  • bask in the glory of the end of the semester

well i also need to unpack and clean but those tasks aren’t good enough company for the above list of way more pleasant things.

hey guys.
i’m done with all my finals.
because i kicked ass on the standardized orgo exam and got exempt (!!) from the real final, which isn’t until the 9th.  and today i handed in my one take-home final and my last research paper.  so the semester is officially over for me!
i’m ready to go home but I DON’T WANNA PACK.
