got a summer research fellowship!
which officially means i won’t have to be a bum this summer or work for minimum wage… i kind of cut it close by forgetting to apply to almost every program but one before the deadlines all passed. i’m so glad this worked out or i don’t know what i would have done!

recipe: chocolate avocado pudding (aka "chovocado...
this recipe is seriously so rich and delicious. the avocado does not contribute to the flavor but does provide a wonderfully creamy base. you may be skeptical but seriously, try it out!
ingredients (serves 2):
1 ripe avocado
1/4 cup agave
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1.5 tsp vanilla
potential add-ins: 1/2 a banana, almond milk, greek yogurt
preparation: mix ingredients and blend!

well my first personal training session was a bust
the girl who trained me was the biggest ditz. she barely listened to anything i said about my goals and just gave me her generic spiel that wasn’t really relevant to me. then when i finally got to workout, she would tell me what to do and then go text. and she mostly just put me on machines with almost no weight and barely made an effort to check my form, let alone adjust the weights.
